Alaska Sole Proprietors, Partners and LLC Members are automatically excluded from coverage, but may elect to be included in coverage by endorsement.
Sole-Proprietors, LLC Members and Partners who include themselves on a work comp policy must use a payroll amount of $32,100 for premium calculation purposes (as of 1/1/2017).
Corporations – For Profit Officers may elect to be excluded from coverage.

Corporate Officers who are included for Alaska workers comp coverage must use a minimum payroll of $500 per week and a maximum of $1,900 per week for calculating workers comp premium. (as of April 1, 2016)
