All North Dakota companies with 1 or more part-time or full-time employees are required to buy a work comp policy.
Sole-Props, Partners, Corp Officers and LLC Members are automatically excluded from coverage, but can choose cover themselves on a policy.
Sole-Props, Partners, Corp Officers and LLC Members who include themselves on a work comp policy in North Dakota must use a $35,600 payroll amount for premium calculation purposes.
