Requirements:

 

All Oregon companies with one or more part time or full-time employees must buy  Workers’ Compensation Insurance.

Corporate Officers are included, but can opt to exclude themselves from a work comp policy.

Construction companies are restricted to two excluded corporate officers except for family businesses which might be given additional exemptions. Other exceptions exist for family farms and timber companies.

Most LLC Members are excluded from coverage, but may opt to include themselves.

Sole Proprietors, Partners & LLC members if included on a policy must utilize a $50,600 payroll (as of January 1, 2017).

Corporate Officers included on a policy coverage must use a minimum $46,800 payroll and no more than $192,400 maximum (as of 1/1/17).
