Requirements:
Companies must have a workers comp insurance policy if they have 3 or more part time or full-time employees.
Sole Proprietors, Partners & LLC Members are excluded from a policy but may opt to be included.
If a sole prop or partner are included on a work comp insurance policy, then they must use a $47,372 minimum payroll
Wisconsin Corporate Officers are included on a work comp policy but may reject workers comp coverage under certain circumstances.
If a Wisconsin Corp Officer or an LLC Member is included on a workers comp policy, then payroll must be $273 minimum per week and $1367 maximum per week (correct as of January 1, 2017).
